Why Every Whitefish Visitor Should Add a Yoga Class to Their Trip

July 20, 20263 min read

Welcome to Whitefish. You made it to one of the most beautiful corners of Montana - and honestly, one of the most beautiful corners of anywhere.

Whether you're here for Glacier National Park, the trails, the food scene, a wedding weekend, or just because someone told you Whitefish was worth the trip and they were absolutely right - we're glad you're here. And we want to make sure you leave feeling as good as this place looks.

Your Guide to Whitefish

Whitefish is the kind of town that surprises people. Most visitors arrive expecting a sleepy mountain gateway and find something much more alive - a walkable downtown full of locally owned restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, and yes, a yoga and barre studio that locals have been coming back to for years.

Here's what a great Whitefish trip looks like:

  • Morning - Hit Glacier National Park. The Going-to-the-Sun Road, Avalanche Lake, Hidden Lake, Grinnell Glacier. Pick your trail and go.

  • Afternoon - Come back to town and refuel. Grab breakfast-all-day at The Buffalo Cafe, a classic Whitefish institution. Settle in for brunch at Loula's. Or pull up a stool at the Bulldog Saloon if you're ready for something cold.

  • Late afternoon - Drop into a class at LOVE Yoga & Barre. Give your body what it's been asking for since mile three on the trail.

  • Evening - Dinner at Abruzzo for Italian done right in the middle of Montana, then drinks at The Great Northern to close out the night the way Whitefish deserves.

Repeat for as many days as Whitefish allows. It never gets old.

Practice With Us

LOVE Yoga & Barre is located right in downtown Whitefish - which means you don't need a car, a reservation, or a plan. You just need to show up.

We offer classes every day across a range of styles and intensities - heated Vinyasa Flow, Power Sculpt, Barre, Yin, Restorative, and more. No matter where you are in your practice - or whether you have one at all - there's a class here that will meet you exactly where you are.

Drop-in classes are always welcome. If you're in town for several days, our New Student Intro Deal gives you one full month of unlimited classes for just $49 - making it easy to build yoga into every morning or afternoon of your trip.

Our teachers are used to welcoming visitors. You don't need to know the poses. You don't need your own mat. You just need to walk through the door.

What Makes LOVE Different

There are a lot of ways to spend an afternoon in Whitefish. We think yoga is one of the best - not because it's the most exciting thing on the list, but because of how it makes everything else feel.

After a class at LOVE, dinner tastes better. Sleep comes easier. The next morning's hike starts from a different place - looser, more present, more ready. That's what a good practice does. It doesn't just stretch your body. It resets the whole day.

We've been part of this community for years, and some of our favorite people walked through our doors as visitors who had never tried yoga before. A few of them ended up moving here. We're not saying that's going to happen to you - but Whitefish has a way of doing that to people.

Plan Your Visit

Classes run daily at our Whitefish studio. Drop-ins are welcome, and booking ahead takes less than two minutes. Whether you're here for a weekend or a full week, we'd love to be part of your trip.

New to yoga? Perfect. Our teachers will take care of you. Already have a practice? Even better - there's nothing like moving through a class in a new place to remind you why you started.

Whitefish is one of those towns that gets into your bones. The mountains, the trails, the food, the people. We like to think LOVE is part of what makes it feel that way. Come find out for yourself.
